Many shops, banks, and government offices close or have short hours on Boxing Day. Plan ahead by checking opening times, carrying cash, and booking taxis or rides early to avoid long waits.

Expect busy roads and popular parks. Travel outside peak hours, keep belongings secure, and follow local advice at crowded sites. Join community events or eat at family friendly restaurants to enjoy the day safely and respectfully.
